Ken is fine - just a little soggy .I was to leave for Atlantic City this past Thursday but cancelled all plans for that trip .Good news is the building super stayed at my place last night and its OK - no power - cable or Internet but the building isn't under water ( probably won't happen as its 33 stories ) at least yet - water is still rising but they've sandbagged plenty . Some of the Boardwalk in front of the building is hurt but repairable .

Much worse here in the Christmas City - we have more than 40,000 homes in the area with no power - and we're told it could be 5 to 10 days till we get back online .Hello Mr. Winnebago Journey ..........

a few pics. we just drove around the block. a lot of trees down and some flooding. this was at 1:00pm today (Tue).
Del. state police block entrance to st. Augustine beach. in port Penn.
the Del river going into Delaware city.
C&D canal entrance to Del city and Del river
looking into New Jersey (nuclear power plant) at Pennsville, from C&D canal.

New Jersey and the coast of MD. and De. got nailed hard.
we are lucky, not much more than a lot of wind and this localized flooding, even my home in fruitland, Md. was unhurt

Some flooding along the coast. My power went out yesterday around 2pm and just came back. Still raining. Drove around and many trees are down. From what I've seen on TV, we made out a lot better than NYC and New Jersey.

A few months ago we got a storm that was a lot worse than this, lost power for 5 days, looked like a war zone. This time the coast took the brunt of it. Jack is not in AC, he is at his home in PA. He said it was raining but I have not heard from him in a while. The storm is heading his way, but should be a little diminished by now.

How are things up there?

Hi Ken.....Wicked winds here last night and damage everywhere. We are off the charts busy and it is beyond anything we have ever had and we have had some biggies before.....I never lost power for more than a few minutes at home and have very little damage but it was not a nice night.....We are on generator power at the shop and all the towns around us are out......

Glad your ok.......See you at the track my friend....Rich

Minimal damage at my place but the surrounding area was hit pretty hard. Lots of road closures, power outages and tree damage.
Gonna be a long cleanup in South Jersey.
