I'll be honest I like the new seat rule. I don't know about the rest of you but slipping and sliding across a bench seat grabbing gears in a 10 second 4 speed car on a track with bad traction is not my idea of fun. If I would have waited 6 months I wouldn't have had to by the factory buckets for our car. At least now I don't have to have them redone. I can just throw them up on the shelf for now and use my Kirkey's.

So does anyone not agree that the Kirkey seats would be ok to use in Stock eliminator under the new rules? Just don't want to go out and buy a set of Kirkey seats (assuming that you have to install two in place of the bench seat) only to find out that you can't use them because they don't "look" like factory seats. Just asking

Call or email Bruce and your question will be answered once and for all....or if one of the Tech officials wants to save some time and many calls and emails they can clarify here on Classracer.

There goes my 619.96 cu. in. 440 six pac engine. You know 4.320 + .80 = 5.120" bore.

Just buy the hard copy of the rule book and have it in your back pocket when they tear you down. Lol

I guess they're going to have to approve some 5.3" bore space billet pro mod blocks.

Thats funny s**t, Larry.

Hopefully it doesn't take as long to resolve as the roll cage thickness fiasco.

For those that don't know ....1/8 wall tube became 118 wall.

Just so you all know, the rule book does have the correct numbers. It is only the 2012-2013 amendments update that has typo error.
