Is an automatic now legal in a car that was only offered from the factory with a stick such as the 1993 Cobra Mustang? That combo was only made with a five speed but would be killer with a C4.

I saw this on page 10 about their Street Legal program and the way I interprupt it to mean is that if you run that series and have a 2008 or newer car (that is un-altered) you do not need a rollbar to run up to 10.0 flat @ 134 . (excluding convertibles and t-top cars)

I'm sure the 2013 GT500 owners as well as the 2012 ZL1 owners will thank NHRA.

Wonder how many tracks will buy into, as I assume to keep their insurance in affect, they have to police what "unaltered" means.

This REALLY needed to be done for the newer cars. Especially with their "out of the box, bolt on" performance capabilities.

The cars are built A LOT better/stronger than they used to be in regards to an impact.

I've heard all the talk but has anyone confirmed the aftermarket seat rule and is it only for original bucket seat cars or bench seat cars also?
