[QUOTE=Hemi Moose;357630]Okay lets go though a small list of some of the Dodge & Plymouth models offered back then...I would like you're opinions on these models if it were you're choice to build any.
The early A-body Valiant Dart & Barracuda, (small block) The later '67-'69 Dart & Barracuda (small block & big block) The early B-body '62-'66 Belvedere Satellite Coronet's (small block & big block) The '70-'76 A-body Dart Demon Duster (small block) The early 70's B-bodies, Satellite Roadrunner GTX Charger Coronet (small block & big block) The later '76 & up Volare Roadrunner Aspen R/T models (small block) The first half of this list has a ton of good combinarions but you need to be prepared to spend 30k and 60k plus for some of the more exotic combos. I have spent it building them myself and I have several in this group. The latter half is where the bang for the buck is. |

Yes Paul, I've seen some of the cars you own that were posted in some of the other threads here that people took at the tracks...so if you had one to pick out of the bunch above, which one would you build or buy.

The 1962 plymouth 383 343 hp savoy i just finished, but there are a lot of good combos in that group. The body alone is prohibitively expensive to buy and restore before you even get to the drivetrain which makes these a less than attractive entry level stocker not to mention the new cars being more attractive to many newcomers over these old antiquated rides.

Please have the good sense to listen to Art Leong one of the top mechanical mind in Stock Eliminator and a Plymouth and Chrysler Authority. My choice for a fun and dependable runner PT Cruiser with Turbo look at last year and this year Indy to see he know's what he's talking about, if you wan't to hear a big V-8 rumble you can have auto tune from your Ipod vibrate throughout your speakers system, or find a good deal on a Volare just like the Ross family bought to run Stock.CR

If you want a great deal from an honest man then look down at the "For sale" at the bottom of this site. GTX John has a great deal on a car that will already run under the index and will be competitive anywhere.
