Mark, do you know anyone who still does "converters" for Dualrange Hydros?
I'm building a 324 Olds for my '49 Ford and want to keep the Hydro.

Tom, I haven't researched any of that stuff yet.
Mine works okay for now. If the Hydro craps out , I'll probably change the engine to a 400 anyway.. Can't bolt a 350 C or 200 4 R to the early engine.. I'm sure I can build one of those for a lot less than than the Hydramatic. After you get used to the modern transmissions , the old ones aren't that much fun..in my opinion.

My daily driver is a 2001 Monte carloe with 145000 miles. Gets 29 miles to galon on highway. I put 60000 on a year.
