Moose,

1965 Chevrolet Engines (Biscayne, BelAir, Impala, Impala Super Sport and Caprice)

Typical NHRA Class for Biscyane 2-Door Sedan 'Post-Car'

The 'base car' was the Biscayne,
* BelAir Sedan was 10 lbs. heavier
* Impala Coupe was 90 lbs. heavier
* Impala Super Sport Coupe was 135 lbs. heavier

* Production of the '409' was shut down early in mid-year production.

283/220 HP.........H/S
327/250 HP.........F/S
327/300 HP.........E/S
396/325 HP.........D/S
409/340 HP.........C/S
409/400 HP.........A/S

The 1965 Impala Coupe #3570 lbs. with the 327/300 HP was a perfect fit into E/S in 1965.
