Dwight Cox (Arkansas) won Indy in '74 with a 66(I think) Impala 2dr/283/4sp in SS/R.
Always a great local race was Dwight and Jack Mullins !
The RPM on THAT starting line was crazy!!
What a great era in drag racing?????

1965 Ford Falcon 2-Door Sedan

289/271 HP 'HiPo'

'7' only built for Oakville, Ontario Canada Ford

Classed in B/Stock (4-Speed Only Cars) in 1965 (9.50 - 10.59 Wt/Hp)

This 65' Falcon and the 65' Hardtop Mustangs were lighter than the Fastback Mustangs, and were found in the lighter class.
