Remembering back around '72-'73 on a trip to Ft. Chaffee (Fort Smith,Ark) for some airdrop exercises.

There was a gas station near the gate.There, off in the woods next to it sat an aluminum nosed, orange, I think plymouth, undergoing an AWB conversion. It was still sheet metal in the quarter panels where the openings had been moved forward. No engine and gutted. Sitting on the ground. Sure wished I remembered more or had taken a pic or two.

Any guess as to what-who that might have been?

All this and I can't remember what I had for lunch yesterday!!!!!!!!!
