I like the idea of Wesley as well, although I find it extremely unlikely. In my opinion, I think Dale House would be an equivalent of the same director that we had previously.
I would think this time, that they go with a fairly young person (35-40) that can mature and be in the position for years to come. I would love for Olan Gotcher to be the director, but I think age is a factor in that decision. A name some of you may know, Nick Duty, grandson of Larry Croft, is probably going to be in the running. He has a marketing degree and turned around Northstar Dragway. Also, Larry and Nick were headed to Thunder Valley this year to turn around that place as well. Nick would bring a fresh new look to the scene and bring some fun back to the races. Just my opinions. "... a background in racing operations a plus"
REALLY why isnt that required ??? ... yea it would be a plus if i was hiring. good luck division 4 with your new director, he has a degree in sports admin, and has been working for the local single A baseball team promoting, marketing and managing the team... by the way he has never been to a drag strip... but he is in charge. REALLY ??? jack

Nick Duty would be a good choice. The Duty Family and Croft family had a very strong program at Denton.

Sammy I heard it looks like Nick Duty and from what I heard he's the real deal.
I wish who ever it is Good Luck, with all the key personel losses and with the limited amount of qualified people to get things done, he will certainly need it. RJ |
