I thought it was all good till I read the part about them covering more of the drama. Glad Paul is gone. But I don't watch for drama i watch to see racing. Thank god for DVR I can usually cover a 3 hour NHRA show in about a half hour and see all I want.

Who is going to cover sportsman? Will we get more than 0 to 45 seconds at the end of an hour long segment?

Bobby,
Come on now...without Bob Frey there we'll be lucky if we get anything....they might fit the winners names in on the closing captions. I'm happy Dave Reiff is taking over, the guy actually knows something about "Drag Racing" and not just some well known name thrown into the booth that doesn't have a clue and thinks he's still announcing Off-Road or Indycars. Am I thrilled about the more Drama they are going to bring to the coverage...heck no but, with Brittany Force coming into the fold this year what do you expect...now we have it in Top Fuel and Funny Car so I assume Pro Stock should get about 2 minutes of air time for a 3 hour broadcast. Hopefully they bring back ESPN3 because this way I can watch everything including Sportsman racing without the talking! |
