Ha ha...yeah, if I spent a little less time typing and a little more time working on my car, it might be finished, right? In this case though, I'm at the mercy of the chassis shop. It's actually coming along well, and they've done a pretty good job of keeping the project moving (of course, so have I by feeding them $$$). Theoretically, they should be starting on the tin work this week. I don't know how long it's going to take them to do it, but there's a LOT of tin work to do. Once that's done the chassis has to be painted, and the tin anodized (anything that isn't already going to be anodized black), and then I have to wire the whole car (that's where less typing and more working will come in handy).

If everything goes well (and I don't run out of money), I could possibly be at the Columbus Sportsnationals, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't skeptical about making that. I'm not giving up hope yet though...

I'm guessing it must be his charm and good looks....

I haven't met her in person, but she seems like she has a good head on her shoulders too. Brains and beauty??? I'm guessing she's using Asta for his money (I wish I could say my wife was doing the same thing to me!)

Don't push me! You'll force me to write the whole LONG boring story about how I got to this point...

That said, I am guilty of not working on my car as much as I should in the winter. But, let's see how motivated you are to work in your garage with no heat, when it's 20 degrees outside, there's 2 feet of snow on the ground, and you haven't seen the sun in months!

I know....excuses, excuses...Just don't poke the sleeping bear unless you're willing to deal with the LONG consequences...

When this snowball got rolling, who knew that it was going to take so long and get so big simply to make my car look like this:

Funny thing is, I just might be at Epping as a spectator now. If my mid-west sales guy ends up coming into Boston next week for training, I'm going to drive up a day or so early to torture myself at the track. It may be the only drag strip I see this year...

And from here on out I'm going to keep the text portion of my posts short. I figure if a picture is worth a 1,000 words, in most cases I should be able to get away with only one or two pictures in my posts.
