I guess he got the clutch to hold on that shot.
Anyone know the MPH? Just talked to Mathew, how 'bout 151.51mph! Last edited by Christopher Stewart; 03-09-2013 at 10:32 PM. |

Hello Everyone...
Sorry for the lack of reporting from my end, but I was having some technical difficulties with the Internet service at my hotel. That's all squared away now, thankfully. Nothing like an IT guy that can't get his Internet fix... SGMP seems to be a great track. First time I have been here. Very smooth and a nice long shutdown. Not wearing out the brakes here. My dad came along for the ride and he now wishes he had his car here. Weather here, as you have seen from Patsy's reporting, has been spectacular. Sure beats that cold and wet weather of the northeast. For the 2 Stock Eliminator sessions today, the DA was 293' and 1100', and I think things are a little faster than the DA even shows. Patsy - Thanks for posting the picture of Jack's car. I can tell him that all is ok, but I'm sure he liked the photo confirmation. :-) More tomorrow, but here are a few pics to enjoy. |

Good morning from race day at the track. Weather looks a lot different this morning. It is 52 degrees and very cloudy. It is 7:50 now and we don't go down for about another hour and a half, so I am sure it will warm up by then. First round should be interesting with 2 heads up races. Possibly of more heads up the next round.
We went out to dinner at a good local place last night--The Catfish House for a very good meal. Lots of other racers there as well. I haven't heard how the racers that were in crashes came out. Hopefully they will announce something this morning. One of Roy Hill's crew fell off the lift gate of his trailer to the pavement yesterday, too. We wish him well and hopefully we will hear something about him today also. We have a tough race this morning, so wish us luck! More later! |
