Default National dragster issue 7

The newest issue of the National Dragster is out. Lots of good sportsman coverage and the National Records. Credit where credit is do. Thanks for listening Phil, and keep up the good work.

I have to agree, I think they are listening and making changes.
On the records, while I appreciate them being placed in ND, it's somewhat wasted space without the type of vehicle being listed. If I didn't know who John Duzac was and what he drives, how would I know from ND? All it says is Duzac is the D/S record holder and he could have a '10 CJ Mustang or a '68 Z-28.
And since ND has written may articles over the years about gaining sponsors and the effects of losing said sponsors, I would think ND would understand the importance of mentioning the primary sponsors with the records. I'm sorry, but I don't believe that records are insignificant in a performance based class. Pro and Sportsman.
On reading the new ND, while we can't have a Sportsman filled issue every time, I think the balance is fair to this point. Keep the Sportsman coverage and tech articles coming.
I will say it seems to take me longer to read the new issues because I am reading more articles where before I flipped through pretty fast. So I think it is better than some of the reviews I've seen here.
So Phil, if your reading this, not bad. Just give us some more info which we can use on the records!

they have space for 2 or 3 double page pictures of pro cars, and old pro cars, but in some of the sportsmen race coverage they do not say a word about the runner up .

Both Jeff and Lynn makes very good points.

Getting better yes. But it would be nice to see the year, make, and claimed engine along with the name and hometown on the records.

Joe, I received the April 5 issue on April 3, so they aren't behind on delivery. Remember, they are published every other week, so there wasn't a March 29 issue; the next issue that you will receive is April 5.

So Phil, if your reading this, not bad. Just give us some more info which we can use on the records!
I see on another tread on this topic that ND will now include the vehicle ('68 Z-28) but not the engine as they never did that. That is correct, I guess I was wishful thinking on that issue! At least we now kknow what the vehicle was along with the driver.
But what about a short segment for sponsors with a set amount of type characters allowed?

Phil, thanks for listening!

Come on Jeff.......If they add too much they will have to go back to being a weekly publication. That would be horrible!!!!!
