On the 1968 Plymouth Road runner 383/335 HP -----

1968 was 'not' a good year at the Drag Strip.

In 'E/S' the Road Runner could not outrun the 68' Mopar 340 A-Bodies or 68' Oldsmobile Cutlass 350/325 HP.

And in 'E/SA' again it was the 68' 340 A-Bodies, or the 67' and 68' Camaro 'convertibles' with the 396/325 HP combinations.

Felix,

The 1968 '383 Road Runner was not really designed to be a 'dominant'
force in E/S or E/SA for 1968.

But, if you purchased the 'Package Stock Performance Kit', and installed
a set of 3.91 Gears, you could get the '383/335 HP' to run 13.80's @ 102 MPH.

That kit was not 'legal' for NHRA Stock Class though.

In AHRA, you could be classed in AHRA 'Formula 6' B/S or B/SA.......'FS6' B/S or B/SA

They allowed any size lift Hydraulic Camshaft and a Holley Carburetor.
