Question Re: Some thing to think about

That seems like a lot of work collecting data, how about NHRA simply check our Stock and SS cars for properly wired systems. IE. brake pedal activated 2 steps in stock, any electronic delay or advantage other than the mechanical delay of the approved transbrake switch in SS? Just to be fair for everyone, NHRA can check my cars first! Has anyone had their car checked? Tom Nolan

NHRA supposedly hired an electronic guru years ago...Anybody ever see him?

* I'm just responding to Tom's post . I don't mean to help carry this thread in that direction.

That's not the purpose of this thread..BTW, What IS the purpose of this thread?

Narrowing victories down to reaction times is narrow minded. The great racers that consistently win have many things going for them. They are masters of manipulation with the cars they race. They prepare themselves and the car well beyond what people realize. They are not afraid to dial up in almost any situation. They look at a time slip differently than most. And they race more in one year than most of us do in 3 years. Beyond that they are talented individuals that put it all out there to succeed. They are also great stagers. Enough about these guys cheating. If anything, they are very clever when it comes to all phases of racing.

First I have to write a great quote from Henry Ford " It's amazing how lucky I am, told by the competition and funnier the harder I work the luckier I get" I do not think that this thread was pointed at anyone, just Mr. Kennedy wanting to know about one way to calculate RT using the Bell system.
