It's me(Rick) that has to work. If dad wanted too work I would just leave him home. If I don't show up Saturday, come Tues morning I'll be calling you asking if you know of any job openings. At the moment we only have four guys in our department and need two on for Saturdays. Being it is a holiday weekend the other two already made plans to be out of town. So here I'll sit. Dad isn't an NHRA member anymore probably been 5 years already and has little desire to be one or I would send him up on Saturday morning with the car.

Hey Rick, I was just giving you a hard time. If you want to send your dad up with the car I'm probably just gonna have the kids cars there. I'll have my helmet with however

The smoothness at the end of the track is only on the years they happen to plant beans. Corn years get a little rough. But I have seen some really fast cars there stop with no issues going much faster than any stock or super/stock.

We (MCR) have recieved alot of phone calls & texts from Great racers looking forward to racing TopEnds Nat Open (May 25-26) ~ THANK YOU for considering this race. The payout is the best gaurenteed 2 days(2 races) stock/superstock payout in the history of Div 5(Nat opens). Also a track owner that is over joyed to have us! With this being said I have all so had a few negitive comments (the track is to short - the weather sucked last time i was there - my hot dog was burned etc.) MCR or TopEnd may not be perfect ~ but it's a Fantastic 2 day race. I've been around S/SS for 30 years, and all i have heard in that time, is lets organize so we get paid better - MCR has done just that - So put away your excuses and lets RACE! The better the car count = better races in the future.
Thank You, Dan Wiese C YA at TopEnd |

Unfortunately it looks like Reuland Racing will be sitting this one out. Weather is wreaking havoc with farm operations so we will be working instead. This is a great event with great guaranteed payout. See you all at Thunder Valley.
