very sad news you don't think we can lose someone so young. two very good guys. prayers to the HELMS and HEBERT family's. they will both be missed very much. Scott was always very good to my parents when they were at gators. THE WOOD FAMILY WILL MISS YOU SCOTT.

RIP Scott Helms.... Today the racing community not only lost a great racer, but a great man. Scott treated everyone he met like family, he was always helping someone, and he was always happy and smiling. He will be missed by many.... RIP my friend RIP..... Kevin and Pat, I am so sorry to hear of Scotts passing! I will always remember and cherish the fun times we all had together at the races and the parties in Texas. God Bless and Rest in Peace My Friend!

It's just a really sad time in south Louisiana. Lost a couple of good folks. Visited with Scott this weekend at No Problem. He was having a hernia procedure either Monday or Tuesday this week, and his Mother was down from Florida to help take care of him. I think he was home, and something obviously happened. I have not talked to Kevin, but when I do, I will post more information. Scott worked for me a couple of years and we were good friends. He was running a parts store in the area. Unique guy. A racer and a racers guy. We shared a lot of good times. He will be missed.
