It appears that only a handful of these cars sat indoors for the last 40 years??

Many of the cars where indoors untill about 15 years ago when the building was condemed and then ended up out side. Some of the cars where under roof from new on. Tom

As I said I grew up with this, rode my bike in the sixtys past the dealership every day in the summer. Gene Bichlmeier bought cars there, my sister still has her 76 vega bought off the showroom floor there. Many of the new cars where never tiltled and if you bought it you whould be the original owner, they have someone working on that also. Many of the cars now are next to our golf course and yes many trees will to go before sale time. A few years back somebody took many parts from some of the cars the did some jail time for it. Bernie let me know what you what and I will see what I can do. Tom

Ok guys the video is up on the top of the page showing some of the cars. You even get to see me pushing out the white 64. Back in the day Ray had rods for my 53 chevy 6 cly. But lots of old parts are there also. Some of the cars on the list I have never seen. Have been told they are at another site like the 64 convertible. Also if anybody is thinking about coming you better get your motel early. There are none in Pierce. There is a bed and breakfast Tuscan Villa. Norfolk is 20 miles away with about 650 rooms, there is a airport there. I mite be able to give some racers a ride if you need one There is also limited RV pads in Pierce Hadar Osmond area call me at 402 329 6795 if you need help, thats my work number .Tom

Tom, can you explain why over the years they did not sell off some of theses cars?If the word got out that they had these cars stored away, they would have gotten some sizeable offers from some collectors?Just crazy that they had all these cars stored away for so long.

If you read deep into the story on him what got him going back in the day was after WW II they got cars right after the war by what they sold before the war. Very few people know the hardships back then, remember Ray grew up threw the depression as my parents. Ray and his wife told me when they got married he had to barrow a white shirt. You would never know that they where major stockholders in GM by there modest lifestill. Ray wanted whoever bought a car from him to have safe transportation so selling a used car that had over 50000 back then almost worn out was not a option. And why they did not sell any thing they did not need the money. I think he felt there would be another war and he would have cars to sell when it happened[.my opinon.] Untill a few years ago he was just going to have them crushed when he died good thing he changed his mind.
