Here's a few observations from Epping.
This will be a major race . Yes the Pro turnout was light ,but it sure didn't affect the spectator turn out ! ....the stands were absolutely packed ! When I left there were cars parked for about 2 miles on both shoulders of the highway ! they definitely need more improvements for the Sportsman parking, the area at the top of the track , where the later cars were pitted was beyond poor ! I can only compare the crowd and atmosphere to that of Columbus back in it's heyday ! considering how the track temps changed over three days, the track was generally good for all but a few clutch cars and one or two supercharged Mustangs !
