Though I don't race NHRA at this time I have in the "good old days" and have kept up with it over the years. For the last 9 years I have raced with a couple of organizations that race somewhat nationally. The NSCA, (Tony DePillo) and the NMCA. Now I realize these are not as "big" and have the following of NHRA, but they are a lot easier and racer friendly to race with. I know Tony is trying to get the Stocker/Super Stocker thing going. If you have not tried one of his races, I think I would give it a try. You can do it in 2 days and spend less money and not be under the constant pressure like NHRA. If someone is wanting to do something different, I think I would start by talking to Tony. I'm just an old fool trying to do the racing I couldn't when I was a kid.
