Default Re: TH200 Deep Pan

The 200-C pan is deeper than the THM-200 pan. The 200-C which was built from 1981-1988 was set up with the deeper pan, with a matching filter. Fluid level should be set hot at the full mark on the dipstick, which is even with the pan gasket. Check to make sure the hot full mark is even with the gasket, and matching pan and filter is used. Overfilling an automatic becomes a problem, because if the oil level gets up in the rotating parts, it will froth up like a milkshake, and will lead to oil coming out the breather.
