We will have to talk at Indy. I spent quite a bit of time there for work. Nice town!

Hey racers and fans!

Just to circle back on this.

The winner for The stickshift deal was John Duzac and George Peterson! Not only did they qualify in outstanding fashion, they won D Stick class! These guys are the current D stick Record holder and proved that they have the baddest 302 Z-28 Stocker going right now. Anyone dare challenge them?

Not to be out done, Jimmy Defrank bucked the trend and owned B/SA with his 396 Wikle powered 69 Camaro and took home honorsnthere as well.

Straightforward and old school. Still a couple of racecars demonstrating perfection!

Congrats to the teams!

Congrats to those guys on winning the award, they are hard working and persistent. They have built a bad *** car.
There is no OTHER 302 Camaro in the country that can run with them, or ever will be able to run with them. I'm not sure anybody in the country that runs C and D stock can run with them. I found that out the hard way, thought I was within a .10. LOL, boy was I wrong.

I feel you Todd! I was thinking though. maybe we should try and get all the D Stick cars motivated for a shootout at class at the Class Nats next year. It would be a great deal of fun, even if I was looking at Camaro tail lights!

Didn`t see Byrd`s name on the sheet from Indy!

Congrats to Duzac and Peterson that`s one bad ride.

I can't speak about Byrds car, I know it's fast. Duzac ran a 44 against me in 3400DA. I can imagine Belle Rose wasn't at least .25 quicker than Indy. Duzac has the record in C and D and raced at Indy. Byrd does not and was not at Indy. I'm sure Duzac could go a mid 20 in D down there at that track and weather condition. Plus there is the AFHS matter.
Jeff, love to see you a Indy with that car when you get it together. Could make next year very interesting.
