Congratulations to Stephen Hebert (Spyphish) on his runner-up finish in the Hemi shootout. I know it has been a long road but persistence pays off. One more step to go. Also congrats to RMRE and Holt race cars who I know were behind Stephen and are very proud of his accomplishment---John

Check out the espn3.com qualifying show, which can be streamed again. I watched it live, and then over coffee this morning. They ran the hemi shootout, and factory stock final. Its about 2/3rds of the way through, after Funny car, before top fuel.

On the head stud DQ, its a severe penalty for what is just a non performance issue. I understand a "don't show up with that on the car again" warning could have been the only thing said some years ago. The penalty doesn't match the infraction. After all, a stud is a bolt with a different head. With all the things that have been debated in that tear down barn, this seems like a very piddly rule infraction.

Jack your from Div. 1 of course I want to see you in the final. But I have to tell you your racing is interfering with your reporting. Don't you understand if we can't be there we have to live this threw your reports. I know we all say thanks to you,Ken and Patsy ect. But you guys are the eyes and ears for all of us that love this sport so much. Thanks again for all you guys do. Good luck!!
