Too bad some that run my combo, and the new one I am having built, can't do the same! I guess it's just too much fun going a second under on a bye run or red light![/QUOTE]
Would your brother be included in that group....lol |

What is the horsepower rating on Mr. Worner's car? What combo is Mr. Silveus' car? His cars are always fast, just curious if his combo is considered "bogus" since he went -1.08 under.

If you have seen and compared the engine specs with like factored older cars, and knew how fast many of these new cars have gone in private test sessions, you would understand people's problem with them. Can't blame the guys running them, but sure have to wonder about the NHRA people that accepted the supplied HP ratings. Do you realized you likely have not seen the better DPs run with all 4 barrels hooked up? They will run more than 1.08 under on 2 barrels.

I guess the 2 barrels are sort of like a certain olds super stocker with the block of wood under the gas pedal.

Mr Wright, I don't know about the DP's running on only 2 barrel(If so that sucks for anybody having to run one heads-up) and yes, I think they certainly should have a much higher HP rating. Quite a few cars run fast at testing and other races where AHFS is not in play but that doesn't factor in. I also don't know the HP rating for Mr. Warner's combo or Mr. Silveus' combo but, I would like to if possible. I appreciate your knowledge and am always eager to learn more about the various types/combos in stock/superstock racing.

I know you say that you are new and just learning about superstock, but how did you know Worner was talking about Silveus when he didn't say his name at first. I think you are a little closer to us than you pretend, if I would guess Kevin Gaffney lol. Stop trying to cause a war between them just to get HP on my combo. Mr. Silveus could have hit it at Indy but he didn't, I know people want him to do it one more time but I personally don't think he will fall into this trap.
