Just who exactly decides who gets the special awards at nationals?????????????????

I asked that question one time at a national event since a friend of mine had his new racecar there and the answer was National Dragster picks Best Appearing Car and Best Appearing Crew. The tech department picks Best Engineered.

Sounds like this time they were told to pick Best Appearing Chevrolet.

This is a show winning car in its category,.For not winning best appearing ,Chevrolet, title sponsor for event , i think comes into play here ?
