Red face remote oil filter adapter?

dose anyone make one for a 307 olds? Perma cool has one that they say fits 95% of all engines...but goes on to say call tec to make sure it will work with your combo? if you've seen where the filter is on a 307 olds you would know why I want to move it.

Greg, put a small diameter filter on it. Short or long ones are available. Same as 301 Pontiac. PF 47 ,I think

Try Trans-Dapt. I know I just put one on a Pontiac 455 for the exact same reason, and it worked fine. I used to run an Olds all the time, I tapped the holes in the block on mine, and used AN fittings.

Unhappy Re: remote oil filter adapter?

careful on the remote oil filter-----I spent a fortune on plumbing and the best pieces available----after a few runs the bearings were gone, crank and rods got so hot they turned black-----went to a short filter after a rebuild. Just my humble experience.
