50 year old push buttons never missed a shift or fell out of gear including 1-2 shift
with wheels in the air

Hi Jim, yeah, same here. My 50 year old pushbuttons had 98K on them when I got the car in 71. I leave the line with my thumb on the second gear button, not possible to miss a shift. I cant figure out why people put floor shifters in pushbutton cars.
