Default Pinion Angle

Wondering what the correct pinion angle is for my Super Stock Ford Maverick. The car weight is 2935. It is a Ford 289 with a C4 and a transbrake. Thanks for your help!

You only need a couple of degrees negative with ladder bars..Just enough to offset the u joint angle coming off the trans...It's not going to change under power anyway.
My experience....

Most ladder bar cars I set around 2 negative, they have massive amounts of seperation during launch for the most part. A good 4 link merely equalize the angles to allow them to cancel each other. Got a few guys with that set up going mid 8's on a true 10.5. Of course there are as many ideas and theories on that topic as any I can think of. Good luck, Joe
