PS. Your bill is ready !!
That was the one I was afraid of.

What a weekend, couldnt ask for a better start that to bang out that Wally on Fri, great job by Larry Peotter, who really can drive that finish line. The support I got from my friends was amazing, never in my wildest dreams did I think I could double up. Have to thank my great friend and Crew Chief Walter for all his help, without him, I wouldnt have had a chance. Good Job Bernie Staub who if he didnt redlight would have had my lunch.
Thanks to Tom & Lynn Hoosigian, Lynn who after losing 2nd round rooted for me & supported me as I passed her in the points, both are Class Acts.
Gabe & Judy Perino, Judy who was waiting for me on the return rd after the final nearly broke my neck in a death hug.
I broke a camshaft 3 weeks ago and without James Antontte Sr of JA Performance Race Engines, I dont even get to play
I had a trans problem so I thought, brought it to Ed Alessi Sr & Jr, had it back the same day, what great service.
The car came loose in the trailer the sunday b/4 the race and the nose took quite a beating, without the incredible job that my good friend and mentor, Tommy DePascale along with his son Chris had the nose repaired and ready to go on race day, thank you.

Sam Biondo, oh Sammy your pep talks got me over the hump, thank you.
Johnny Maggs Sr, thank you for the ice cream.
Thank you Jeff Jackson for sharing info with me over the years to make me better.
Having my wife and kids present at the race was amazing.
Everyone at the track who pulled for me , thank you.
Only wish my very special friends, Dave, Debby, Timmy,Bryan & Kenny V could have been there.
Last, to do it at the track where I cut my teeth at , amazing.
Have to stop now or CBS will accuse me of impersonating Jason O.

Way to go Gary!! Great race in the semi's. How did you like the hand wave going down the track? Good luck in the points chase, you are up against a very tuff croud and you should be very proud of yourself!

Hats off to Lynn & Tom H. How many people do you know that gets passed in the points with one race to go, and still hang out to cheer and help with the paperwork in the winners circle? 2 Words, CLASS ACT!

Hey Gary....Whats better then coming home with the Wally after a weekend of racing? Well that would be coming home with 2! Your the man!

Too late Gary, and I have to say that your post brought a tear to my eye. Long and eloquent...just the way I like them...

Congrats again!

Hey Gary!
Tom and I were talking after your phone call the other day! Thought I would share Tom's comment with all those who know you so well!! I think they will agree with him!
After I told him how hyped up you still were - which is normal by the way - he said: "Gary is like a Jack-in-the-Box. When you crank him up, he pops out, bounces around, and is tough to get back in the box!! "
Thought you could use a laugh for the day!!

Wink Re: 2nd time a charm

By 4.30 sunday afternoon I was toasted, got a little heat prostration I think, monday i was almost as sick as Drew was sat. I went to work and got thru the day, drank tons of liquids, by tuesday I was back.
Without question the weather was as bad as I can remember it ever being or I need to get in better shape.
