I remember this very well. We had a chapter at Rice & Holman Ford and my father was vice president of the club back then. We had Hubert and Randy at the dealership along with Al Joniec for one of the performance clinics. The next day we had a match race at Atco Dragway with both Platt & Payne cars taking on Norm Fryer's 2 cars. I still have a box of stuff from those days for setting up the clinic at the track. Registration forms for running a bracket race and several other forms and paperwork. I also have several of the decals and monthly newsletters. But the best prize from all of it is that I still have my father's Ford Drag Team jacket !

hi,Dave do you have a picture of your jacket ,i have a patch but i need only a jacket to reproduce a clone ,thanks

Some of you may be interested to know that Ford Drag Team members Dick Brannan and Hubert Platt will both be attending the 2014 FE Race & Reunion on April 25 & 26 2014. The event will again be held at Beaver Springs Dragway. Last year was the inaugural event and we had over 150 FE powered vehicles there. We expect to exceed that number in 2014. The event is both a race and car show.

We are very pleased that both Mr. Brannan and Mr. Platt agreed to be there to sign autographs and will also be selling their exclusive memorabilia.

héhé ,i will be there with my freinds in 2014 ,do you remember this year , 3 guys from montreal , this show is amazing and it will be better in 2014 ,very nice racetrack and a lot of beautiful car and rare car and rare 427 xl-100 pick up with original owner !
