Default Come to Orlando LODRS in February.

February 7-8-9-2014 Division 2 LODRS Season Opener !

The elevation is just 66' ASL, good probability of low humidity, moderate temperature and higher barometric pressue can yield some great conditions. The concrete launch pad has been ground smooth since the last LODRS here and it is working great. Every pit space is adjacent to a paved interior road

Test days before and after the event are available and the track may even host them at a discounted price. A good chance to get a grade point, run a race and do all the testing you need to get ready for the season in your Division. Plenty of time to make needed adjustments or repairs before the next LODRS or East Coast National Event.

Wonderful seafood restaurants East AND West of the track: Dixie Crossroads in Titusville right off I-95. Boston's Fish House in Winter Park at Forsythe Rd. and Aloma. Great shopping at the easy to get to Waterford Lakes Mall.

Great opportunity to get out of the cold and bring your gang to the Family Entertainment Capital of the World. If you come to town early I have about 8 acres immediately adjacent to the track you may park your trailer on until the gates open for the race.

Sounds good Carl. What about hotels east of the track? Some of the reviews on a couple places at the I-95 exit are not too good. PM me if you like.

Thumbs up Re: Come to Orlando LODRS in February.

Tom, there are several nice hotels within 8 miles West of the race track on SR50. One of them (I can't remember the name) gives a pretty good discount if you tell them you are racing at Speed World. I will try to find out which one and post it. Jim

Carl, you helping out management with track? It looks like they really care about drag racing.

PS any good long term parking/storage near the track for northerners to leave rigs at till the gators?

Carl,
How about getting in license passes before the race? I can't race without one...
