You're correct! congratulations, gold star for the day! You deducted that a standard pickup with a high ride height and great visibility could drive through the pits, after a rain with minimal traffic and nothing going on at the track without striking a car 5 feet in the road. Your mother must be so proud of you. You get to join the club with GUMP, two peas in a pod, all we need now is for supercompdiv3 to interject a fabricated statement from a well known racer and we can jump back on the special bus.

And Toby I would say in your situation at the very least both parties are responsible and both should pay their share unless the share continues to climb in the following months. The fact that don is attempting to recover damaged done to his trailer while trying to load his "severely wounded" dragster is crazy as well. he made the decision to load his car that way, so I feel that cost should be entirely on him. NHRA has these neat little tire dollies that go under the tires in order to get cars with damaged rear ends off the track, I'm sure they could have let him barrow them to load his car.

Hey Mr. I joined this website to help a buddy Flow...yes my mother was proud of me. You know why?...because if I drove in excess of the posted speed limit and wacked a statianary object I would make good on the damage I did. Maybe the damage to the trailer would not have occured if Mr. Downing went over and gave the man who's car he had hit a hand loading it. That car is sticking out as far as the dragster in the picture in front of it. Nice to know there are a few racers who think it's OK to hit stuff and not make good.

Oh sounds like I struck a nerve, I'm glad thats your claim to fame. I had no idea you were not posting on this site to try to help don's (a fellow SC racer, and you probably use his product) side of the story.... I do believe that it been stated that the CJ could have been doing no more than 15 mph in the short distance from the booth (which is right out of the frame on the picture) to don's tire. and I believe thats the NHRA standard speed limit posting is 15.

Maybe you should hire a fact checker before you post. or you could just post other people false statements on other forums like you're good at. I'm referring to the post about Samantha Kenny from SupercompDiv3 that you so proudly posted to the DRR website with sympathy to Don, a post which was later called out by Jason Kenny(Sam's brother) as being completely fabricated (wonder who was trying to help his story out with that one?). But yet I don't believe you posted anything about that over at DRR or anything recognizing the fact that the post was false? I just find it funny that someone who frequents the DRR forum and posted frequently on the subject can be so in favor of a person who's story has changed multiple times over the course of 26 forum pages.

Also Toby, lets change the subject a little since that seems to be the theme of this thread, since we're digging into other peoples personal business I was just wondering if you could shed light on what happened between you and Mr. Meador? I've heard many stories through the grape vine involving a physical altercation? Is there any truth behind this? I figure a public internet forum is the best place to air out your dirty laundry, right Don?

Yeah, he kicked my ***. That's why I haven't been racing much lately. Long recovery period. We don't get along very well. I have always wondered why he has let me drive his car for 15 years when he we hate each other so much.

At least I have the balls to post under my real name and not hide behind some fake name. Grow a pair, dude.

BTW, I drove his car at the Seattle races this year, just in case you missed it.

Sorry Toby the rumors must be false. I was unaware that certain members of this forum are part a society that has devolved to such a manor where the size and justification of ones "testicles" is judged by his, or her, willingness to post their opinion on a public forum under their complete given name.
It seems I have put you on edge a little when I brought a personal matter into question on here, much like you frequently questions others about personal matters here, even when you have their personal numbers and the full capability to contact them in person to inquire.
