"we're not building a race car, we're engineering a Cobra Jet"
Nice!! That green....nope...just not my colour I guess, maybe because I wear it everyday?? LOL! Look at the 90* bend at the bottom of the exh manifold on the Boss! Talk about restrictive! I also wonder if they installed the pipe before dropping the engine in because it's impossible to replace it later? I always hate stuff like that, can't pull a bolt out because it's up against the body or frame and you have to drop the cradle or something. Last edited by goinbroke2; 11-26-2013 at 06:43 PM. |

my guess: 5-6 employees in the first pic (looks like 2 in the pit).
only 2 in the second. also, the first pic it shows employees in company uniform the last must be casual Friday. lol first pic was an assembly line second looks more like"lift stations" first pic looks like a nice stocker combo second looks bogus! (I just had to. lmao)

1969 429 BOSS no way you could put the engine and transmission in all together. All the pumps, alternator and brackets would have to be removed prior to installing. I know, we had to dismantle all when we installed headers on my brother's Blue(Petty) Boss in 70, took two days to install with all the skin that was lost with it. Those men at Kar Kraft must of hated going to work knowing that they had to shoehorn that Mastodon or as Willy Coyote would think an Elephas Maximus. Mind you I wish that we would have kept that Mustang, who knew people would have paid so much for those no go Mustang in the future.lol Claude
