When I asked the same question, here's what I was told.

Any intake can be used. The unmodified OEM throttle body must be located in the original position for the engine claimed. Larger injectors may be used but must be in same position as original.

That is how it has been since I started this foolishness again.

John, lots of guys going fast with Edelbrock VictorEFI manifolds and either an Edelbrock or Wilson elbow. I never could make one run as fast as my sheet metal Hogan.

Probably doing something wrong. LOL

Don't drill the idle air hole between the throttle bores too much, they will nail ya. Ask me how I know, right Travis? LOL

Thanks for the advice!

Does anyone make any new/newish race style/Super Stock legal throttle bodies or are junk yard specials all that is needed? I cannot find anything but used 48mm throttle bodies. Are there any common acceptable throttle body mods? Are those bolt on air foils legal?

I have way too many questions haha

Original from the car, from a salvage yard, or from somebody that put a larger aftermarket piece on their hot rod.
