[QUOTE=Evan Smith;411445]Why should it be a "right" to be competitive with an old race car when there is new, better technology available?
Evan: First of all, not everyone can afford a $100,000+ race car. Stock Eliminator wasn't intended to be "he with the most money wins"...it's not NMCA heads-up racing. The "better technology" argument doesn't fly. Why has the NHRA accepted the bogus HP factors that the new cars came with from the get-go? How come the AHFS has worked at a "snail's pace" when it comes to these new cars? The answer to all of these questions is because the NHRA has simply let them. They are catering to big money.

Never been to a nat or div event before there big timer however there are a few high level stock racers at my track who I have traded punches with(on the track) that know who I am so I am confident I wouldn't be overmatched against you especially w a dial in. Come to no problem the week before the sportsnats for a bracket race. I'll wait for you by the fuel shed. I'll help you load your car up and feed you gumbo afterwards

Why no real name??
If you don't have a legit Stocker or Super Stocker, why do you care if we have heads ups or not? Or even debate people in this section?

Can't wait to see the battle for the record in May. 10.60's in G from a 40+ year old car would be epic.
as for the killer Quote:
When you win the bracket finals or do something that stands out from the guys that you race with and against maybe you will become relevant. Until then you are a nobody in our world, and on this site. have a nice life. |

Ouch! If you go 10.50's that is smoking in our part of town. If not great sense of humor. How right does the weather have to be to go 10.50's in G/SA?????
