Don't forget the 351C stick cars were very fast back when they would move the HP factor for both auto & stick if there was an adjustment. I am sure that my favorite clutch guy Rob Youngblood and also Dave Picht are responsible for some 351C HP hits.

Thanks to everyone for their perspective! It appears that I would be safe in the assumption that the Cleveland combos took numerous hits and steadily increased in HP to cause the class shift?......and yes, Tex is STILL fast!!
