Different piston config, more cam, more intake runner volume, bigger valves, more rocker ratio, etc. About the only thing you can use from a 427 are the rods, the manifold and throttle body, and the block.

Nope...same exact block with a 4.200 arm, and the manifold and throttle body are exactly the same as the 12 and 13 427's.

Understood, but I am sure that we will see this combination "evolve" a little before it sees an NHRA event.

On my Mopo. 2.30 intake 1.70 ex. big new intake 699 cam 16 to one compression
