Barrett Jackson and brains?

I can't afford the header tether requirement cost, let alone a "Barrett Jackson" car..... ;-)

I watched an hour or so of the auction. Some of the prices just baffled me. If you wanted an original, rare, desireable musclecar, forget it. They were getting bid WAY beyond any reasonable amount. Yet on the other hand, if you were looking for a top-shelf street/strip car without any pedigree, it was a buyers market. When Rod Saboury's 'Vette only got $180k, I turned it off. You guys that have built cars from the ground up will appreciate the amount of $$$$$ into this car.

It runs high 6's in the 1/4 and can be street driven. I'm sure he took a huge loss on the sale of it.
