You don,t have to run the C80F-D on the cougar 302 in gt the 3 i listed are approved & there are some others, if you run in regular super stock you will have to run the autolite on a 68 mustang.

Thanks again. The 1850 is probably a more sensible choice for my first try at the track. The price is right and there are ways to tune it for better performance on the track.

If you have to buy new get the QF carb. A friend has a B/S Camaro, the QF 780 was worth a little over the Holley 780.

I need a 600 cdm carb and I don't think QF makes one I can use.

Look at QF SSR-585_VS that was mentioned earlier in the thread by Mr. Hill. The accepted products list shows it as a replacement for a Holley 3367, which has the same dimensions.

That carb is in the QF 2014 catalogue, but I can't seem to find it anywhere to buy. Going to contact QF regarding it.
