Thanks for the input. These are the ones that are in my budget:
Scat Eagle I think the Eagle is the one on the list but the numbers aren't an exact match. The main issue I have as a first time builder is that the process for approving a part is a bit of a mystery unless you know a bunch of seasoned racers. Just a paragraph in the General section of the rules explaining the process would remove the mystery for a lot of us. Maybe I'll just build an exploding Funny car or sideways ProMod. They seem to rate above Sportsman. Dale

RPM lists a closeout 302 forged crank for about $350.00. Might be worth a look if you can get an approval.
