I got my pre-entry stuff in the mail today. Wasting that is cheaper than buying fuel to get there for nothing.

It will take us a single tank of diesel to get there. That's not the problem. Getting stuck I. The mud is the real problem! This race should have been cancelled and a make up date posted.
