U see I too am a big fan of these cars and it seems that a lot of stories are made up to make people rich ,heroes or like gods I do not believe that a car could sit in a ally in the city of Detorit for fifteen years until Mike Guffy comes along and saves it and that is the story that is hot rod magazine written by Geoff Stunkurd so who is telling the truth ?

I have photos of the car sitting in Mike Guffey's shop unrestored. He sold to car to Todd Werner. The photo of the unrestored car in the Hot Rod article was taken in Mike's shop.

So, what are you trying to say? His name is spelled Guffey by the way.

I also know Geoff. He also did an article on Guffey's collection in the 90's for SS&DI in which he talks about Mike owning the car.
