Explain to me "Junior Stock"

Probably the best book you can get on this subject is by Doug Boyce. It was published in 2012 and is titled "Junior Stock - Drag Racing the Family Sedan." The book covers 1964 thru 1971 and has a ton of pictures and lots of info. It can be bought from Amazon.com or from your local Barnes and Noble book store.

Is this the same book as "Super Stock-Drag Racing the Family Sedan" by Larry Davis?

Totally different book. Larry's book was published in 2010 and deals with super stock and covers the 50's thru the early 70's. If you love that era of drag racing, then it would be a good book to have also. You can get it from the same sources. I have both and many more in my library of car books. Both are very interesting to read and will take you back to when drag racing was FUN.

Charlie A. I have looked at the link that you provided and found it to be VERY good reading and lots of pictures also. Some of the pictures don't show up on my computer, I guess they have been deleted. Still a VERY good sorce of info from the junior stock era.
