That car was 3700 lbs. I was in other lane, got a flat rear tire in the lights. Not fun.

It all depends on Who builds it, I have had no- problems with Sepanek for over 12 years.. My car weights 3850 # , did have a crack housing once & that's the weakest link with those old housing ? Yes, the brace helps but if you lose a rear-end . First thing to check is Trans housing & tranny gears,
sprags ... Good luck, go with a good tranny guy and be done with it.. Metric -200 is the way to go, do the math ? If you buy a T-350 or glide you still have to buy a lower first gear ??? The Metic 200 comes with a 275 first gear, you just saved $500 , so $1000-1200 doesn't look bad at all .... Also , 50-60 lbs lighter , what's not to like ??? Way more racer are using them and not saying anything, what does that tell you !!!!

Thomas Arnett runs one of his 200's in his big block '69 Camaro Stocker...best pass so far is a 9.89 I believe.

IF you are going to run a metric in a heavier car,(3600lbs.and up) i would spend the extra $300. or so and get the good bellhousing put on it from the start.
