Thanks for 'splaining Brian. I kinda wondered if you converted to a stick (YES, you should!) and the ZL1 got refactored to the 570hp the muscle car books claim it makes.
Better go turn the screws to Armstrong and see if you can get another 8 tenths out of it. ![]() The new classes are as confusing as heck and if this many people can't figure it out that's not a good sign. I'm not sure what bonehead decided to make SS/AA the stick double A class rather than call that one by the new SSA/A title. |

I still think they should of kept SS/AA as old SS/AA class and rules, and made the new classes either SS/AFX or AFC (factory car), SS/BFX or BFC ,SS/CFX or SS/CFS.

That is a good idea. We need to do something to stop the alphabet soup madness. Don't know if NHRA will buy it, but need to fix the mess before it gets worse. Pretty soon we will have AAAA/SA OR SS/AA/AA. How can the racers petiton NHRA to fix the class designations?? Any ideas????
