"Live" from Jegs Belle Rose 2014

Good morning, all! The rain possibilities are down to 10% for the day! It is overcast, but the sun is peeking thru. Looks like a great day for racing. We start out this morning at 9 with Super Street, then Stock.

And a big "Thank you" to Troy Pourciau for the wonderful beignets this morning for breakfast! I will now be wearing powdered sugar all day, but boy were they good!

Also thank you to Sonny Stancil for the great strawberries!

Well our team moved on in the NCAA tourney last night by beating Kansas State. I must admit I went to sleep on the game. We could only get it on the computer and we took it to bed with us! I woke up with 30 seconds to go! Good job Kentucky Wildcats!! Now they just have to beat undefeated Wichita State on Sunday!

Well the sun is out a little better now, so let's go racing!!

Hope all goes well for you guys today. Nice job in the first round. How did Larry like spotting Gerald 5.33 seconds?? Can you imagine one of the new cars spotting him over 7 seconds. Anyway, let's hope the weather holds and the race is completed as scheduled.

How come so many no shows 1st round?? No wake up call??

Hats off to this 2 guys they get what class racing is all about. Letting them rip, wish others would race this way no 1000ft agreements.

I totally agree. Let the cars run what they do and let the chips fall where they do. Hope to see you at Pacific for the combo races this year. I believe there are 4 scheduled.

Well, Mrs. Patsy, we were glad to accommodate y'all. Hope y'all get the "evening shade" at Indy. There were a lot of drivers giving the track all they had. I was just glad that it took everything that was thrown at it. The starting line had no complaints, but I was too occupied on the tractor after the trash crew failed to show up on Saturday. Thank y'all for coming, and I hope to see all of y'all next spring.

and if you look it up in the guide, you'll find that they only gave the Monte Carlo the HP. The Malibu isn't changed!
Also, they changed the Grand Prix but not the LeMans and they didn't change any of the Buick Centurys or Regals and Cutlasses.

I am looking to get in contact with the lady who was selling the event pictures to the racer she had taken of their cars. I would like to get another and the frame does not have any contact info on it. Any help??
