It is well documented that Ed's car can run with anyone (even though he will "poor mouth" it.)....LOL...............but, for some of us (that run 1968's and 1969's)......Ed's car is new...

Ed's 18 year old car can not run with any new car belonging to people that have a clue, and work at it. Wish it could. Heck, it's old enough to smoke, and even drink beer some places.
Oh! And old enough to vote!

Mother Nature took care of the racers this weekend! Rain held off but is now and has been raining pretty good. Actually rained at the house yesterday morning, but obviously not at the track. Thanks to the Big Man!

The weather forecast for Sunday scared me away from the CIC race. I headed out right after Bertozzi handed me my tail first round. I would have stayed if I thought they could race another day. It was a very nice while I was there.

Sorry I haven't been posting. Just lazy I guess! Saturday was pretty busy with racing and watching all day. Then we went back to Landry's for some great food again on Saturday night with some awesome Div. 3 super stockers. Had a great time with Allan and Marilyn Wade, Jerry and Sally Silveus, Bob and Carolyn Howald, and Harold Costello!
On Sunday the CIC race started around 9 or so. As you could see, not many cars left there to participate. We did have to pause for a few sprinkles, but the rest of the day turned out great. I am sure there would have been more participation had the race been held on Sat. before eliminations, but the right decision was made to run the race on Sat. The forecast looked bad for Sat and Sun, but the weather guys missed it and it was great weather. All in all we had a great time with great hospitality once again! A big thank you to Jimmy Hidalgo for all the food and good times. He even let us come over and watch the KY - Wichita State game at his office yesterday! The Wildcats won over the undefeated Wichita team in a great game!! So we spent the night at the track (where it rained a bunch overnight). We are now on our way back to KY! See ya'll for the Indy points race! Patsy |

Traction is amazing at all Div 4 races. We have the best track prep guys around. I didn't know I needed my car back halved until I started racing out of division 4.
