I thought I would follow up on the Smothers Brothers posts. Through a friend who happens to know Dick Smothers we tried to arrange a meeting and do an article with him on the whole story. Unfortunately, after sending him several questions on the subject, Mr. Smothers decided not to go forward.

Probably the first major article on the 1968 car. Later it received a new '69 front clip from Olds engineer Dale Smith.

By April of 1969 the '68 W-31 received a face lift. Note 1969 Cutlass cars did not have vent windows in the front doors, unless they were a post coupe 33677 body style
