I am wondering about switching from Sunoco Maximil to VP Q16. What is the jet size increase when doing this? Is there a performance increase?

You may have to do some changes to the metering blocks as well. On my combination I picked up 25 hp

Depending on jet area 2 to 4 jet sizes. Going from Maximal I would say you need to do the higher # 7 back down. I would start with 2 out of the timing and work it up. Depending on the carb the extra required Q-16 might not like the passage sizes in the metering blocks and boosters. That is "May not"!!
