This is such SAD news. As others have already expressed, Richard was a "true gentleman" in every sense of the phrase. He will be really missed by all that knew him and likewise for those that never had the pleasure of meeting him, it is a loss that cannot be replaced.

God Bless Richard, you are in a better place.

Sorry to hear of Richards passing. I actually had an appointment with him to do an alignment on my car last week but had to cancel due to not having my engine back yet. He was truly a gentleman and will be sorely missed! RIP Richard!

This is sad news. Richard was friendly to me the first time I met him and was always a true gentleman. We didn't cross paths often but when we did we always had a good visit. I will miss him.

This is truly sad news for the Class Racing community. I consider myself blessed to have know Richard as a friend and honored that he allowed me to do his carburetors. As others have stated, a true gentleman and very talented at his craft. You will be missed. Danny

Was a good friend, remember when we were in our 20's how old people seem like when they were in there late 60's. Now we are getting to our 70's.

Will miss you my friend !
